AIA Disaster Assistance Program Building Evaluator Training
AIA Disaster Assistance Program utilizes volunteers and mutual aid resources to provide professional engineers, architects and certified building inspectors to assist local governments by doing post-disaster building evaluations. The training program for Building Evaluators is currently managed by the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) with cooperation from professional organizations.
