Tour of 12th Avenue Iron w/ Young Architects Forum
If you love highly crafted metalwork and want to know more about the process of turning pieces of steel into beautiful architectural details, you are in for a treat! 12th Avenue Iron has invited the Young Architects Forum for a tour of their workshop. 12th Avenue Iron designs, builds, and installs custom architectural metalwork, sculpture, and furniture for commercial, residential, and public environments. Their clients include architects, designers, builders, public artists, corporations, universities, and private customers. They bring together broad and deep experience in metalworking, forging, welding, fabrication, casting, machining, and high-end finishing, and their working relationship with other professional artists and craftspeople allows them to integrate blown and cast glass, wood, stone, and other materials into their projects.
