Our pricing is calculated by cost per credit hour determined by member status + flat fee hard costs associated with the production of programming and CPI increases each year. 2025 Major Education Programs

WAsafe Building Safety Evaluator Training | March 5, In-Person | Registration Closed
The AIA Seattle Adaptation & Resilience Committee is hosting an in-person, eight-hour training on post-disaster building safety evaluation procedures and WAsafe, Washington State’s program for post-disaster volunteer responders. This program is a must for engineers, architects & building officials committed to using their unique professional skills to assist following a catastrophic event. Participants will learn how to properly assess buildings for safe occupancy following a major earthquake, flood, or wind event.

Building Code Series | March 25-26, July 22-23 Online*, Sept 8 (In-Person), Oct 28-29 Online* | Registration Open for Session 4!
Developed by the Code Committee, this four-part series focuses on essential building code topics such as the latest developments in local code updates, existing building requirements, accessibility, and the intricacies of compliance issues. *Up to one session in person.

Climate Summit | May 16, In-Person | Registration Closed
This annual full-day forum amplifies the role of the profession in climate and sustainability at varying scales to advance research, share technical skills, and inform policies crucial for a sustainable, decarbonized, and equitable built environment. AIA Seattle’s in-person 2025 Climate Summit: Fostering Our Ecosystems: Co-existence & Climate Resiliency will explore the application of co-existence and biodiversity frameworks to demonstrate how the built environment can facilitate whole ecosystem health.

AHC Spring Conference | May 30, In-Person | Registration closed
The Architecture for Health Committee (AHC) connects and educates healthcare design professionals, focusing on innovations, codes, and adaptations in the region’s healthcare systems and their links with the built environment. AHC’s 2025 Spring Conference: Sustainable Horizons: Advancing Healthcare Design for a Greener Future will explore how healthcare systems can integrate sustainability while balancing operational demands, financial constraints, and regulatory requirements.

Housing Design Forum | June 16, In-Person | Registration closed
This annual full-day forum explores the latest design trends, case studies, policy changes, and practice innovations informing housing design and the development of plentiful, quality, diverse, and sustainable housing options in Seattle and beyond. AIA Seattle’s in-person 2025 Housing Design Forum, Transformative Housing: From Policy to Practice will examine the most timely housing opportunities and explore how we can continue laying the groundwork for meaningful change to create a future of abundant, high-quality, diverse, and sustainable housing options in Seattle and beyond.

Business of Architecture Intensive Workshop | October 20, In-Person | Registration closed
This three-part education series, delivered as individual half-day workshops, is focused on skill building for an equitable and sustainable practice and business, no matter the firm size.
