Behind the Vision

Welcome to Behind the Vision, a communication series to provide our AIA Seattle community with information about activities that steward our mission, vision, and values forward.

Through this series, we share behind the scenes information about how our organization serves our 10-county membership.

Behind the Vision is a regular opportunity for you to learn what is happening in service of our vision for equitable, resilient, thriving communities. You’ll learn what’s happening across the organization in programming, advocacy, committee and community events, strategic committees, taskforces, and the Board of Directors.

Behind the Vision: Community Reuse of Items from the Center for Architecture & Design – AIA Seattle

The partner organizations of CfAD have been preparing to exit our shared space for multiple years, and the decommissioning at 1010 Western is nearly complete. As the needs of each partner organization’s space have evolved over time, our values have remained steadfast, including our shared belief in responsible reuse.
