Our purpose is to enrich the human experience

At Kor Architects, our purpose is to enrich the human experience.

We believe the most meaningful homes begin by listening—to the land, to the light, to the materials, and most importantly, to the people who will live there. Every project is an opportunity to create something deeply personal: a home that feels timeless, connected to its place, and reflective of those who inhabit it.

Our studio is collaborative by design, valuing curiosity, craftsmanship, thoughtful problem-solving, and a willingness to engage every phase of the work—from the first sketch through construction. At Kor, design doesn’t end with an idea—it lives in every detail, and every decision that brings a home to life. We approach our clients, consultants, builders, and one another with the same thoughtfulness and care we bring to the homes we design.

We’re building a studio of architects who believe that extraordinary homes are the result of extraordinary attention—to design, to craft, and to one another. If that sounds like the kind of studio you’ve been looking for, we’d love to meet you.

About You

You’re an architect or designer who enjoys bringing clarity to complexity. You thrive on translating design intent into thoughtful, highly coordinated construction documents and believe that exceptional homes are built through technical excellence, collaboration, and attention to detail.

You enjoy working closely with Principals, Project Architects, consultants, and contractors to solve problems, coordinate information, and ensure every project is executed with care. You take pride in producing accurate, well-resolved work and understand that great architecture depends as much on disciplined execution as it does on inspired design.

You might be a great fit if you…

·         Enjoy solving complex design and construction challenges

·         Value precision and craftsmanship in both design and documentation

·         Build trust through clear communication and follow-through

·         Understand that every detail shapes the experience of a home

·         Are continually learning, refining, and raising the bar for yourself and those around you

Responsibilities

·         Support the technical development of projects from schematic design through construction administration under the guidance of the Project Architect

·         Produce and coordinate comprehensive construction documents that accurately communicate design intent

·         Coordinate consultants and integrate structural, civil, landscape, and MEP disciplines into the project documentation

·         Support construction administration through RFIs, submittals, site observations, and field coordination

·         Contribute to a collaborative studio culture while taking ownership of your work
