Job Description
Everton Homes is seeking a Project Architect to lead the architectural development of our luxury single-family projects. This is a hands-on role responsible for taking projects from zoning feasibility and concept design through to permitting and construction documentation.
We are looking for a candidate who brings a refined design sensibility, strong technical execution, and a deep understanding of residential constructability.
Key Responsibilities
Architectural Design
• Lead residential architectural development from initial feasibility through permitting
• Create schematic floor plans, building massing, and elevations from scratch
• Develop high-end, modern single-family residential designs aligned with market expectations
• Maintain design quality and consistency across projects
Zoning and Code Research
• Lead zoning and code research prior to the design process
Technical Production
• Produce complete construction document sets
• Work directly in Revit (primary), AutoCAD, and SketchUp
Consultant Coordination
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and other consultants
• Ensure seamless integration between architectural and engineering disciplines
• Lead consultant communication through permitting
Permitting
• Manage and oversee permit submittals
• Respond to plan review comments and coordinate revisions
• Drive projects efficiently through municipal review cycles
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of professional residential architectural design experience
• Strong proficiency in Revit (required), AutoCAD, and SketchUp (for massing and elevation studies)
• Deep understanding of residential construction methods, structural coordination, constructability, and detailing
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Robust portfolio required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000 – $140,000 per year
