Interior Design – Full Time Intern Position

Atelier drome, a close-knit architecture, interior design, and branding studio based in pioneer square
seattle, is searching for another fantastic designer to join our team. Our work

furniture design, bars and restaurants, new construction homes, mixed use buildings and everything in
between.

We are currently looking for a full-time interior design intern to join our team. The
ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, team-oriented and able to adapt to a dynamic fast-paced
studio environment. This candidate will also have the following qualifications:
Primary Job Responsibilities:
-Provide support to Interior Designers and Architects in all aspects of a project from initial
concepts through construction documentation, furnishings and accessories installation
-Research furniture, fixtures and equipment, furnishings, materials, and architectural finishes
-Prepare presentations for residential, hospitality and commercial interiors based on direction
given by Interior Designers
-Assist with social media postings
Experience/Training:
-Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and / or Affinity
-Canva and Revit experience is desired but not required
-Knowledge of furniture, materials and building finishes
-Understanding of or desire to learn about furniture specification & resale is a plus
Requirements:
-Bachelors degree in interior design or currently enrolled in a design program
-1-2 years of interior design experience
-Strong conceptual and schematic design skills
-Familiarity with local product showrooms and vendors is desired but not required
-Valid driver’s license (access to a vehicle, and ability to run design related errands is highly
preferred)
-Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
Compensation:
-Hourly Pay Rate: $22-$26/hour depending on experience
-PTO Allowance
