The Member Advancement Steering Committee (MAC) creates strategic and inclusive methods to identify individuals and engage them for opportunities of leadership and recognition and serves as the nominating committee for AIA Seattle and Seattle Design Festival
The Member Advancement Committee supports the leadership pipeline, and solicits and reviews nominations for the AIA Seattle and Seattle Design Festival Board of Directors.
The committee is chaired by the AIA Seattle Past President and is comprised of past members of the aligned AIA Seattle and Seattle Design Festival Board of Directors. MAC strongly encourages the nomination of women, people of color, people with disabilities, and people with perspectives and skills that will support the strategic needs of the organizations.
