Diversity Roundtable

Beginning three decades ago, the AIA Diversity Roundtable (DRT) is a group that elevates, inspires and empowers individuals of underrepresented backgrounds in the profession of architecture through leadership, community service, and activism.

The Diversity Roundtable embraces and celebrates diversity in all its facets. We strive to provide opportunities for a wider range of individuals to become registered architects, take advantage of leadership roles, and influence our practices and professional lives. We work diligently to highlight individuals and businesses whose work in architecture reflects and promotes inclusivity. Our committee hosts engaging monthly firm and individual profile presentations, a bi-monthly happy hour series (Social Hour), an annual Solstice Celebration, and volunteers with our long-time collaborator, Sawhorse Revolution.

The Diversity Roundtable serves AIA Seattle’s Member vision. Follow us on Instagram to stay connected!

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

The Diversity Roundtable (DRT) meets, either in-person or via Zoom, the first Tuesday of every month at 5:30pm.
