Architectural Project Leader

 

Pelletier + Schaar, an established firm with 25 years of experience, is seeking an Architectural Project Leader. Our award-winning firm is based in North Snohomish County, just minutes from the Cascade foothills and the waterways of North Puget Sound. Our work includes innovative custom residential and commercial projects such as waterfront and high-bluff homes, multifamily housing, live-work and co-housing developments, and urban missing-middle infill. Our commercial portfolio includes art centers, medical clinics, and small civic and educational projects.

 

Our new Project Leader will have experience and will be ready to join our team, bringing the following qualifications:

 

Professional

·         Positive, professional work ethic and demeanor when interacting with colleagues, clients, contractors, government officials and others.

·         Works self-directed and able to coordinate with interns effectively, as well as actively collaborate as part of a team.

·         Appreciates quality design.

·         Ability to develop and aid in design concepts with knowledge of materials and constructability.

·         Passionate about architecture and design

Management

·         Attend client meetings and site visits.

·         Effectively interacts with clients, contractors, and government officials to manage the successful completion of projects.

·         Resourceful in researching IRC, IBC, ADA and local codes.

·         Familiar with land use regulations and able to work towards resolving potential issues

·         Pinpoints and aids in resolving document conflicts and deficiencies.

Technical

·         Efficiently uses AutoCAD, Revit and Sketch-up to create and prepare architectural drawings at all levels of project development.

·         Thorough when modifying or updating drawings to reflect client and architect changes.

·         Constructively contributes towards project development and architectural documents, based on experience and knowledge of architecture and construction.

·         Develops accurate as-built documents from existing drawings and site measurements.

Experience/Education

·         5 to 8 years of work experience in the AEC field.

·         Has an Architectural Design degree or higher

·         Is a Registered Architect or is actively working toward Architectural Registration.
