Heather Pogue AIA
Heather Pogue is the lead designer and Registered Architect behind Jeunesse Architects. Having worked on almost all project types over her career, Heather found that custom homes and small retail & restaurant spaces were where she could offer the most value, designing both interior and exterior environments from a more holistic approach. In addition to architecture, she is a published writer, podcast developer, and former college-radio DJ. She lives and works in Seattle and can be found cross country skiing or mountain biking in the Methow Valley and volunteering as a Garden Steward with the Washington Park Arboretum.
I walk clients through a very daunting task, line by line, conversation by conversation, starting from a concept in the imagination and ending with inhabitable space you can experience in reality.
It’s provided me stability in an everchanging world, knowing that I will be an architect for the rest of my life and knowing there are so many joyful aspects to this multi-faceted career.
Taking long walks through Seattle’s beautiful neighborhoods to marvel at the outstanding vistas, the flora, and how people personalize their private spaces.
I have been overwhelmingly impressed by the Board, this team brings so much energy to the organization and asks tough questions that lead to insightful discussions on our mission alignment and strategy moving forward. It’s a joy to give back to AIA in this tangible way.
To find resources and inspirational programming.
