AIA Disaster Assistance Program Building Evaluator Training
AIA Disaster Assistance Program utilizes volunteers and mutual aid resources to provide professional engineers, architects and certified building inspectors to assist local governments by doing post-disaster building evaluations. The training program for Building Evaluators is currently managed by the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) with cooperation from professional organizations. CalOES will issue Disaster Service Worker (DSW) ID cards to all professionally licensed volunteers who have completed the training. Those who are not yet licensed will receive a certificate…

The newly released documents at the heart of the AIA Contract Documents program, the A201-related AIA Owner–Architect Agreements, are revised by the Documents Committee on a 10‐year cycle.
