Urban Design Forum Planning Session 2016
How is the region urbanizing? How should it be? How will necessary connections between dense hubs be made? What is the relationship between center city growth and regional growth? What policies will be established in Seattle over the next 20 years to guide the city as it accommodates 120,000 new citizens? We’ll be discussing and planning the next round of forums during the standard Urban Design Forum time slot this month. We will be at Still Liquor in Melrose Market on Capitol Hill. Urban Design Forum – Fall Happy Hour
Come chat with other urbanists, catch up on urban affairs in the Seattle area, and find out about upcoming events and how to get involved with AIA Seattle’s Urban Design Forum. We are hosting an in-person happy hour to convene a space for people working in or interested in urban design in our city. The happy hour will be informal and we welcome all conversations and discussion topics, including the upcoming Comprehensive Plan, food truck regulation, festival streets, and anything else you’re interested in. We are also interested to hear the themes and topics you’d like to be a part of UDF’s programming next year. Read more
