About the Seattle Architecture Foundation

The Seattle Architecture Foundation (SAF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded in 1982. It
is our mission to enhance the public’s awareness of and engagement with the built environment
through educational programs and collaborations with community partners. We envision a public
that understands the important role the city’s built environment plays in the lives of residents and
visitors and is empowered to engage with and improve our beautiful city.

We are a staff of three supported by 20+ engaged board members from the Architecture,
Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry and 50+ dedicated volunteers from diverse
backgrounds. Our programming mix includes architectural walking tours, youth and family
workshops, lectures, and architectural model exhibits. Our audience includes AEC industry
professionals, students, and members of the general public with an interest in architecture and
design. We currently share an office space with DCI Engineers in Westlake.

About the Role

We are seeking a Programs Coordinator to support our operations across programs, marketing,
fundraising, and general office needs. The person in this role must be detailed-oriented, skilled in
managing multiple responsibilities, and able to work independently. As SAF is a small organization
