This committee creates a space for members to connect, learn, and take action on key housing issues.
The Housing Advocacy Committee works directly with the AIA Seattle Public Policy Board to ensure architects shape the chapter’s policy positions and advocacy strategies.

How to Get Involved
The Housing Advocacy Committee typically meets once per month for one hour via Zoom (every second Thursday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM). Meetings are open to all AIA Seattle members interested in advancing housing solutions through advocacy. After signing up you should receive a confirmation email, make sure to select ‘add to calendar’ so that you don’t miss a meeting.
AIA Seattle members, allied professionals, and partners are all encouraged to participate. Living in Seattle is not required as our meetings are remote and accessible from anywhere.
Let’s work together to shape the future of housing in our region.
