Embodied Carbon and Architecture: Upcoming Legislative Potential
This conversation will focus on embodied carbon and its shifting relationship to architecture. In Washington State, the upcoming legislative agenda is beginning to identify ways in which we might start to regulate embodied carbon in building materials. Circum-ambience & the Art of Traditional Japanese Earthen Walls (Rescheduled due to weather)
MadArt Studio presents Circum·ambience by Taiji Miyasaka, a professor in the School of Design and Construction at Washington State University. In this exhibition, Miyasaka responds to the various conditions of MadArt Studio by creating three spherical sculptures that independently investigate the light, scale, and atmosphere of the physical space.
