Racial Justice Working Group

The Racial Justice Working Group (RJWG) plans and executes AIA Seattle’s Culture Change in Practice: A Leadership Cohort series in close collaboration with NOMA NW and Planning in Color.

Culture Change in Practice: A Leadership Cohort was designed as a response to racist violence, inequitable firm culture, and a segregated built environment, and in alignment with NOMA NW’s Call-to-Action. The RJWG is comprised of architects and allied professionals who are invested in industry-wide culture change.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

The RJWG meets bi-weekly, March – December. Currently, meetings occur online every other Friday, 9-10am PT. To learn more, or receive upcoming meeting and event details, e-mail the committee’s staff contact, Zoe Guckenheimer.
