Project Designer Transportation Architecture Studio

Our Transportation Architecture Studio is engaged in a variety of transportation projects with local and regional transportation agencies. Project designers work closely with the other members of the Transportation Architecture Studio to develop creative, analytically based design solutions for complex projects. Successful candidates will create design presentation materials, digital models, and have a strong understanding of zoning and building codes. Candidates must be flexible in their approach, hardworking, energetic, and curious to uncover unseen possibilities.
Responsibilities
- Exhibit understanding of the design approach of the projects and produce design documentation to support that approach
- Collaboratively contribute to project team, studio, and firm efforts
- Collaborate and coordinate with project team, including consultants and other outside team members
- Coordinate with entitlement and permitting agencies
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience
- Previous experience with transportation projects is a plus
- Excellent Revit skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a highly collaborative team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and analytical skills
- Architecture degree (Master of Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture, or similar) from an accredited program
- Sketching and hand drawing communication skills are a plus
