Lloyd Alter, author / architect / developer / educator,  will talk about his new book, The Story of Upfront Carbon (New Society Publishers, 2024), outlining his recommended approach to understanding the carbon implications of the built environment and also the mindset for a thriving future. Lisa Richmond will engage with Lloyd about these topics and how they are relevant for practicing architects, developers, and community members who are collaborating on the built environment and cognizant of its climate and social contexts.
