AIA Seattle hosts a diverse range of award programs to recognize individual architects for their work, as well as recognizing projects that represent the highest level of design achievement and leading members onto regional and national AIA boards and commissions.

HONOR AWARDS

AIA Seattle’s Honor Awards for Washington Architecture is a nationally-recognized program that explores and honors projects designed by architects throughout the state of Washington.

VOLUNTEER & COMMITTEE AWARDS

The AIA Seattle and Design in Public Volunteer Awards recognize individuals who demonstrate attributes of an emerging leader, poised for significant contribution and accomplishment through their work, community service, and/or active participation in AIA Seattle or Seattle Design Festival programs and committees. The Committee Award recognizes and honors a group of AIA Seattle volunteers who has made an outstanding contribution to the organization. Learn more about the Volunteer and Committee Awards.

AWARDS FOR INDIVIDUALS

AIA Seattle has a long tradition of recognizing individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievements in support of the profession of architecture and the AIA. Learn more about our local awards for individuals, as well as regional and national opportunities. AIA Seattle enthusiastically welcomes nominations for these awards and honors year-round, with the Fellows & Honors Committee starting deliberations for this year’s cycle after Friday, July 21, 2023.

To nominate an individual for an award, please fill out this form. Those who wish to provide additional materials supporting their nomination may send up to 10 attachments to Anthony Collins. Nominations received after Friday, July 21, 2023 will not be included in the 2023 awards cycle, but will be held to a future year.
