My work experience—both national and international—includes over 25 years of urban design and architecture, including healthcare, higher education, K-12, commercial, retail, mixed use, municipal city centers, and multi-family housing. I am a LEED© AP; a Registered Architect in Florida, California, Washington; and have two Master’s Degrees—one in Urban Design and one in Architecture. I have coordinated and mentored teams of junior designers, and have experience with Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Suite, and Autocad. My work has been recognized and published in magazines such as Architectural Record, Healthcare Design, Medical Construction & Design, Health Facilities Management, Canadian Architect, Georgia Strait, and Awards.

Senior Architect – CD’s and Consultant Coordination for a 7 story – 265,000 s.f. Data Science IT center at the University of Florida (with BCJ Architects). CD’s for a 3 story – 44,500 s.f. Student Healthcare Center at the University of Florida (with Cannon Design). I had a role in developing design standards for the office.
2019-20 BAKER BARRIOS ARCHITECTS, Orlando, FL
Architect and Designer – CD’s and Consultant Coordination for a 75,000 s.f. Ballroom facility at Hilton Bonnet Creek, and for a 24,000 s.f. Ballroom facility at Waldorf Bonnet Creek. Design and CD’s for the 30,000 s.f. Bumby Arcade retail renovation in Downtown Orlando.
2017-18 CUHACI AND PETERSON ARCHITECTS, Baldwin Park, FL
Project Architect and Senior Designer – Project Architect for various size retail projects and interior office renovations. These include, but not limited to: Miami Gardens Mall, Marco Town Center, Mall at 163rd Street, Florida Blue, and OC Tax Collector Office. I added value to the firm by recommending retail design improvements, as well as production efficiency techniques.

Various multi-family residential projects, Orange County, CA – Masterplanning, Entitlement documents (site plans, floor plans and elevations).
Board of Water Supply, Honolulu, HI – Design Director for a 7 acre Masterplan and 1.2 million s.f. facility, including parking, office, residential, and institutional facilities. I had sole responsibility for programming, preliminary design, consultant coordination, and 30% DD drawings.
Royal Kai Lani, Honolulu, HI – Senior Project Designer and detailer for a 40,000 s.f. luxury condominium on Waikiki Beach.

K.L. Sentral, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Design Lead for a 1.4M s.f. complex of exclusive corporate office towers and business suites, 5-star international hotel, luxury condominiums, and a shopping mall adjacent to Malaysia’s largest transportation hub. KL Sentral is the largest commercial development in Kuala Lumpur today.
Hong Kong Institute of Education, PRC – Intern architect for the Masterplan design of a 1.4 million s.f. teaching facility, alongside Arthur Erickson. LIU Centre for the Study of Global Issues, U.B.C., Vancouver – Intern architect working with Arthur Erickson on the design of a university conference and teaching facility. Worked for various other architects on a project basis.
