Coffee Hour is an informal drop-in opportunity to casually chat with each other in person.
We know it can be helpful to have a sounding board of fellow women-identifying designers as we navigate our industry and world from a unique perspective and experience; this Coffee Hour is a chance to cultivate relationships and provide informal mentorship. Bring any current struggles, share a recent win, or simply come to talk about work and life.
We will have a prompt selected from the below list of topics to help guide conversation:
- Advocating for yourself/others
- Navigating the job site
- Leading meetings
- Recognition and licensure
- ‘A day in the life’ – daily routines (in the style of Madame Architect series)
No registration needed; coffee and food available for purchase on-site.
A casual drop-in event from 7:30-9AM on the second Tuesday each month hosted by Women in Design; venue will rotate at local coffee shops downtown, so check in beforehand.
