YAF + WID: Watershed Virtual Tour
Want to tour one of Seattle’s newest deep green buildings without leaving the comfort of your couch? Join us for this virtual tour of Watershed, a 72,000 GSF Class A+ office structure building pursuing Living Building Challenge Petal Certification in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood.
The seven-story new construction project was designed to integrate with the surrounding environment and positively impact the broader community, while achieving energy and water efficiency according to the Seattle Living Building Pilot Program for land use incentives.
Project highlights include bioretention planters that organically filter stormwater from the Aurora Bridge, rainwater harvesting for building water needs, LBC Materials Petal compliance, and electrochromic (self-tinting) window glazing.
In this virtual tour event, you’ll learn about the building’s features and then hear from a panel of team members who made the project possible. It will offer a holistic perspective of the design and construction process, and offer insights into what it takes to create a deep green building in the City of Seattle.
