YAF & WID Happy Hour Series 2024 – MEASURE WHAT MATTERS
The Young Architects Forum and Women in Design are excited to announce our 2024 happy hour theme, MEASURE WHAT MATTERS: UTILIZING DATA TO TACKLE THE 2030 CHALLENGE AND ADVANCE SUSTAINABILITY OBJECTIVES IN ARCHITECTURE.
If your firm has been using data to influence your designs, has a focus on sustainability metrics, or use evidence based design in your work then you are an ideal candidate to host an event in the 2024 AIA Seattle Happy Hour Series! We are excited to highlight firms in the Seattle area that are innovative in their data collection and their use of data to produce harmonious design solutions. Hosts are responsible for providing a space for the event, offering light food and drinks, and designating staff to participate in a discussion on the aforementioned series theme. We encourage firms to co-host with one another to display how different members of the design teams use data in their own ways, but co-hosting is not a requirement. In alignment with AIA Seattle’s mission, vision, and values, the event space must be ADA accessible and offer accessible restrooms.
