Kickoff Meeting Agenda

  • Our kickoff meeting will demystify the licensing process. After starting with some networking time, we will segue into an NCARB-focused presentation that will cover recording AXP hours, the testing process, and alternative paths to licensure.
  • We will also divide into breakout groups for those at similar points on the path to licensure, whether you are newly licensed or just getting started with your exams.

Exam Credit Raffle

The YAF is excited to announce our exam seat raffle! We will be giving out 2 exam seat credits throughout the licensing workshops; the more events you attend the greater the chance that you win a free exam!

Raffle Rules

  1. When you show up to an event in the licensing workshop series, make sure to sign in. If you don’t sign in you will not be entered in to the raffle.
  2. We will be giving out an exam credit at our summer social event in June, and our program celebration event in December.
  3. There is no limit to how many times you can enter the raffle.

The mission of the YAF Licensing Workshops is to create a community of emerging professionals who are passionate about developing their skillset. Whether you are exploring the possibility of licensure, actively testing, or recently licensed we believe that this series will help you grow no matter your experience level.

Workshops will connect participants with NCARB licensing advisors and include interactive study sessions, study groups, and relevant informational presentations and valuable networking opportunities. Each workshop will be split into one of two categories: Professional Practice Exam Prep or Design Exam Prep. Each workshop will go in depth into exam content, discus common licensure questions, and allow licensure candidates to connect and share resources.
