WID: Raisbeck Aviation High School Building Tour
Join AIA Seattle's Women In Design committee to tour Raisbeck Aviation High School, where students receive hand-on, project-based learning centered on the aviation industry.
Co-located with the Museum of Flight, Raisbeck Aviation High School was conceived as a response to Highline Public School’s desire to provide student access to engineering professionals, its proximity to the aviation industry, and its education-al vision for hands-on project based learning. Completed in 2013, explore the school with current students and architect Caroline Lemay. See how the school is used and discover the path it took to make this project a reality.
