Urban Families w/ UDF

Seattle continues to experience a tremendous building boom. Thousands of housing units are being built for the young singles and couples moving to the city. But what happens to the young professional when he or she starts a family? How is and how should the city shape development to accommodate burgeoning families?

The Seattle Planning Commission has done extensive study of these questions and has summarized their findings in the white paper below. We are putting on a panel of Planning Commission members to discuss how Seattle intends to attract and retain urban families. Join us and be part of the conversation!

Panelists:

  • Catherine Benotto AIA
  • David Cutler AIA
  • Jake McKinstry
  • Grace Kim AIA
