Strategic Planning Survey Deadline

How can AIA Seattle + the Seattle Design Festival prepare our community to lead, deploy design to make a difference, and work to better sustain our organizations?

AIA Seattle + Seattle Design Festival are engaged in strategic planning in support of a common vision: Together, we envision a culture of design that fosters equitable, resilient, thriving communities.

Surveys must be submitted by 5pm PST February 28th.

This work is being led by the Strategic Planning Task Force, which is comprised of a diverse group of individuals who represent the various constituencies of both AIA Seattle and SDF. This group includes AIA Seattle and SDF leadership, staff, members, external community stakeholders. Launched in October 2024, they have been focused on developing key questions to guide the development of a joint AIA Seattle and Seattle Design Festival Strategic Plan.

Seattle Design Festival has robust data to inform aligned strategic planning through past participant surveys, and is also conducting a benchmarking research project to bring forward additional supporting information. We are excited to deliver an aligned strategic plan, grounded in community input, will define strategic priorities for both organizations leading up to 2030.
