DRT: 2019 Solstice Celebration
Join the AIA Seattle Diversity Roundtable as we celebrate the committee’s continued growth and success, and the arrival of our updated branding in a new, yet historic, Black-owned art space in the Central District. Hosting our event at Wa Na Wari feels especially meaningful to us, as our Solstice celebration coincides with Juneteenth this year, a day commemorating the emancipation of the last remaining slaves in Texas, two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued. We hope that you will join us in acknowledging this day, and recognizing the achievements and contributions our invaluable member-base has brought to fruition over the years.
Doors open at 5:30 with a brief program beginning at 6:00 pm.
