Join @drt_aiaseattle for the October committee meeting. Next month, we'll be hearing from Maisha Barnett of Studio Jupiter about her experience in community-based development. The meeting will be available both in-person and virtually via Zoom.
- About the Presenter:
- Maisha Barnett of the Studio Jupiter is a freelance built environment practitioner about her experience in community-based development. Founded as a compilation of her pursuits, Studio Jupiter, is her practice in public space development and cultural preservation. A key contributor to the development of public open spaces, she managed projects for the Friends of Jimi Hendrix Park, contributed to the Friends of Waterfront Seattle, and founded and managed the Powell Barnett Legacy Project. Maisha was named the 2018 Seattle Parks and Recreation Denny Award Superintendent’s recipient.
