ARCHITECTURE IS LABOR: WHY ORGANIZE? A DISCUSSION WITH ARCHITECTURAL WORKERS UNITED

We often seem to agree that today the profession of architecture requires serious changes to keep up with the challenging economic and political landscape. Many young professionals feel disengaged and demoralized, and a serious dialogue is either completely missing or lacking within our workplaces.

On March 3rd at 5:30 PM, join us to explore the history of architecture, understand how the profession has evolved, and discuss potential future directions.

This virtual event includes an informative presentation by Andrew Daley, AIA from Architectural Workers United. The presentation will be followed by an open Q&A session.

Join us to learn, share your thoughts, and be part of shaping your own future.

The Architecture is Labor Committee meets on the first Monday of every month at 5:30pm. AIA Seattle members, allied members and sponsors are encouraged to join as well as other professionals in the design community. Click here to register for monthly Architecture is Labor meetings.
