CAE: Design for Early Learning

How can partnerships between educators and architects lead to engaging and wonder-filled environments for children?
Join us as we celebrate the culmination of the Capital Readiness Pilot Project. Well hear from speakers in the fields of early education, architecture and design; tour the beautiful space at Charles Wright Academy; and explore how partnerships between educators and designers lead to engaging, healthy and beautiful environments for children.
The event begins at 8a with a networking hour and poster display; panel sessions and discussions will continue from 9a-4p, with time at lunch for tours and table talks. Finally, we’ll have some social time after the final panel, for a chance to reflect on the ideas, images and strategies presented over the course of the day.
The symposium is for early childhood educators, administrators and advocates, as well as for design professionals, interested in how the built environment can express and reflect the values, vision and pedagogy of a childcare center or daycare.
