Women in Design

The Women in Design Committee celebrates women in the design professions and supports their professional development and leadership growth by providing a forum for thoughtful discussion and networking. We seek to raise the awareness and understanding of the current state of gender diversity and elevate the influence of women leaders in our profession.

The Women in Design Committee hosts evening panel discussions, book salons, dine around events, and co-presents monthly happy hours with the Young Architects Forum which are hosted by local architecture, construction, and built environment design firms.  In 2015, the Women in Design Committee hosted the national Women’s Leadership Summit and in 2019 co-hosted the Conversations Towards an Equitable Practice discussion series with Diversity Roundtable.
