Matthew Radach AIA
I was born and raised on Whidbey Island, Washington, graduating from Oak Harbor High School and attending the University of Washington where I received both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture. I have worked as an architect at Designs Northwest Architects since 2002. My focus has been primarily on custom residential design and I’ve been the designer and project architect on multiple award-winning projects.

What relationships have I made?
As a member of the steering committee for the Northwest Washington Section, I have been able to forge relationships with architects from some of the leading firms in my vicinity.
Where do you see the field of architecture, engineering, or construction heading?
I believe that cultural changes in the way that media is consumed has created a greater awareness of design among the general public. My hope is that a greater appreciation for good design will lead to more opportunities for architects to have an even greater positive impact on our built environment.
