UDF + COHO | Learn About I-135 and Social Housing
Join the Committee on Homelessness (COHO), HouseOurNeighbors!, Tech4Housing, and the Urban Design Forum (UDF) to learn about Initiative 135. This initiative, endorsed by AIA Seattle, would create a new government agency to build and manage permanently affordable housing in Seattle.
COHO, UDF, House Our Neighbors and Tech4Housing are partnering on a Happy Hour to welcome members to learn about Initiative 135. AIA Seattle has officially endorsed the initiative.
During the happy hour we will have a small presentation from HouseOurNeighbors! on the initiative as well as a short discussion on what the initiative means to COHO and UDF respectively. There will be lots of time to meet and mingle. Bring your ballot for a quick voting party!
- When: Thursday, February 9th @ 5:30pm – 8:00pm
- Where: Optimism Brewing Company, 1158 Broadway, Seattle, WA 98122 (This venue also serves beer and non-alcoholic beverages).
- Accessibility: This venue features a street-level ramped entrance, gender-neutral restrooms, and allows outside food.
