SDOT's Sam Zimbabawe: City Leaders Breakfast Series
The AIA Seattle City Leaders Breakfast Series connects AIA Seattle
members to elected officials, policymakers and thinkers who are transforming Seattle and the Puget Sound region in critical areas ranging from housing and homelessness to city design, sustainability, transportation and more. The series provides opportunities to learn about key issues impacting our communities and the built environment and to hear the viewpoints of and interact with leaders who are shaping our future.
Seattle Dept. of Transportation Director Sam Zimbabwe will join us for a discussion of his first year in Seattle, a look at his priorities for 2020, and his thoughts on AIA Seattle priorities including reducing SOV trips through the city, improving bike and pedestrian access, and equitably increasing transit options. Bring your questions as we will have a lengthy Q&A.
