Design/Build: Opportunity or Barrier?
Present and Future Realities for Marketers and Business Developers
Seattle and the region have seen significant growth in Design/Build delivery in just the past few years. In the public sector, including higher education, State of Washington agencies, infrastructure clients and even K12, Design/Build has dramatically changed how and when—and for architects and engineers with whom—work is awarded. How has this foundational shift affected your company, and what should you be doing? Is this the latest fad, or is it a long-lasting change? What are the particular impacts to marketing, business development, and client care?
To answer these questions and more, AIA Seattle and SMPS Seattle are together hosting their second joint Fellows Forum, a highly interactive program combining observations and ideas from a range of industry leaders, with both AIA, Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), and—especially for this program—Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA). This is a terrific opportunity for your firm’s marketing, BD, and technical staff to share questions, perspective and dialog with panelists experienced and successful in Design/Build.
