DP & R - Hurricane Response for Architects
Join us for a discussion of building for resilience. We’ll be looking at lessons learned from Hurricane Harvey’s devastation in Port Aransas, Texas, and comparing it to vast destruction and loss of life from the earthquake in Haiti in 2010. We’ll also have a brief discussion on becoming a post-disaster building inspector, as well as the experience of being deployed to a disaster zone.
