Architecture and design are valuable tools for addressing some of today’s most critical public health challenges, including the obesity and chronic disease epidemic in the United States. FitNation explores strategies that make our environment more conducive to physical activity as a part of everyday life.
The exhibit features local and national projects that exemplify design approaches and simple improvements that contribute to a healthier lifestyle for individuals and communities.
On display at the Center for Architecture & Design, February 20 – April 9, 2016.
