Unrestricted
The Model Exhibit is an annual event presented by The Seattle Architecture Foundation to engage the public in the design process through showcasing the work of local architects. This year’s exhibit theme, [un]Restricted, refers to the ways designers creatively respond to design challenges. Models throughout the Gallery and interviews with exhibitors provide examples of how architects choose to interpret the limitations imposed on projects, such as building code, materials, cost and the site itself, as opportunities for innovation.
The Seattle Architecture Foundation (SAF) connects people to the architecture, design and history of Seattle. We provide entertaining workshops, dynamic tours, educational seminars and enthusiastic community advocacy. Through our programs and civic engagement, SAF will empower you to make a difference in your community.
On display at The Center for Architecture & Design September 1 – October 22 2016.
