WAsafe: Train-the-Trainer Course
AIA Seattle Adaptation & Resilience Committee in collaboration with WAsafe is offering a Train-the-Trainer class on June 1st, 2026 at City of Seattle Municipal Tower.
We are interested in having a few Seattle area architects attend this class. The WAsafe training program is now required for registration in Washington State as a Disaster Response Volunteer.
Instructor and Adaptation & Resilience Committee co-chair Behrooz Emam AIA has been teaching building safety evaluator training classes for the past 30 years. It is now important to find a few other architects that can get trained in the next year and continue this important work going forward. Behrooz will work directly to help with training interested individuals for the remainder of the year to ensure they are comfortable in teaching these classes.
