Learning Objectives:
1. Examine and raise awareness about workplace equity with a focus on gender and race, particularly during and after a layoff.

2. Evaluate and assess your firm’s existing practices, values, and culture, and discover strategies for fostering a more inclusive and equitable environment to enhance the overall trajectory of the industry at a critical moment.

3. Identify actionable steps to create an inclusive workplace in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry that embraces equity and diversity in terms of race, gender, ability, age, sexual orientation, and more, rather than focusing on an individual firm.
