WiD Queer Gals & Pals Creative Writing Meet-up

In celebration of Pride month, Women in Design (WiD) is hosting a Creative Writing meetup at Charlie's Queer Books in Fremont.

WiD co-chairs will lead participants through creative writing exercises related to queer-place making. The event will be held in the upstairs meeting room and will be broken into segments to allow for breaks, but will also be casual. Please take time to peruse the bookstore. Paper and pencils provided, but feel free to bring devices if you prefer.

This gathering is intended for lesbian, queer and trans female, and non-binary designers; others are welcome to attend, please respect this gathering as a safe-space for queer world-building.

Location: Charlie’s Queer Books | 465 N 36th St, Seattle, WA 98103 -Upstairs meeting room

Accessibility: The main floor is accessible by ramp, however the meeting room is only accessible by stair. Please let organizers know if you want to join but need the party to be accessible and we can discuss with the host

Parking: Street parking is available.

Transit: The 40 bus stops just across the street, with a crosswalk and light for pedestrians. Many busses come to Fremont, please consult transit maps for the best route for you. *Animals welcome
