- HDIP Description:
- HDC is currently seeking applicants of color for the 2024-2025 cycle of our Housing Development Internship Program. Through this internship, HDC aims to support the next generation of affordable housing professionals of color.
- HDC’s Housing Development Internship program (HDIP) is a 9-month paid Internship designed to recruit, train, and retain racially and socio-economically diverse students who may not otherwise know about or have access to opportunities in the affordable housing sector. This Internship aims to provide a launch pad for college and graduate students from communities of color into a career in affordable housing development. We strongly encourage applications from students entering their junior or senior year of undergraduate studies or last year of graduate school, studying real estate development, urban planning, construction management, architecture and/or related subject matter. All majors are welcome to apply. Application due date is June 24th, 2024.
- Please find our Intern Promotional Video and link to our website for applications to the Housing Development, Architecture and Construction Management Tracks.
The Diversity Roundtable meets the first Tuesday of every month at 5:30pm either in-person or via Zoom. AIA Seattle members, allied members and sponsors are encouraged to join as well as other professionals in the design community.
