The Code Committee considers items of interest to code issues, and interacts with various local and state jurisdictions to develop and advocate for changes to codes and their application.
How to Get Involved
The Code Committee meets virtually the third Friday of every month. See calendar listing at right for upcoming meetings. To receive upcoming meeting and event details, subscribe to our email list. AIA Seattle members, allied members and sponsors are encouraged to join as well as other professionals in the design community.
The committee annually helps generate educational programs for design professionals and code officials. The Code Committee serves AIA Seattle’s Profession vision.
