I Am AIA:
Sidney Scarboro AIA
ExpandOne of the original Principals who founded Gensler’s Seattle office, Sidney describes herself as “a design integrator.” Sidney translates the diverse needs and personalities of her clients into built environments that promote success for their organizations. What is the value of AIA to you?
The AIA serves as a professional, social and educational platform for my continued growth as an Architect. I value the sharing of information and experiences from colleagues. AIA is the forum for design discussion, technical innovation and recognition of our best work.
How do you explain what you do for a living?
I tell people that I take ideas and turn them into built spaces that you can touch/ feel/ experience.
