PARK(ing) Day Plus+ is an opportunity for Seattleites to temporarily turn on-street parking spaces into public places. Locations will be all over Seattle, Friday 9/16 and Saturday 9/17, 10am - 6pm. Part of our 6th annual Seattle Design Festival, which runs September 10-23.

PARK(ing) Day Plus+ happens once a year on the third Friday in September, and this year it falls right in the middle of the 2016 Seattle Design Festival (September 10-23)! This international event raises awareness about the importance of a walkable, livable, healthy city and helps people re-think how our streets can be used. Seattle Design Festival 2022

August 20, 2022 - August 26, 2022

The 2022 Seattle Design Festival will be all about CONNECTION. When thinking about design, there is something very tangible and physical in how things ‘connect’ – but there is also something very emotional that ‘CONNECTION’ taps into as well. This year’s Festival, August 20-26, will kick off with the SDF Block Party at Lake Union Park and feature in-person and virtual experiences throughout the week.
