Zervas, an award-winning architectural firm in beautiful Bellingham, Washington, is seeking a Senior Level Interior Designer. Candidates with the following abilities will be considered for this position:

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp, as well as the Adobe Creative Suite programs.
  • Have a strong portfolio of work demonstrating creative design concepts, utilization of software to communicate design intent, and experience in the design of a variety of project types.
  • Be comfortable with creating bid and construction documents, including interior elevations, reflected ceiling plans, details and sections for remodel and new construction project types.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year CIDA accredited interior design program, and 3-5 years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • ave a solid work history including experience in design of public, commercial, multi-family and single-family custom home projects.
  • Possess extensive and well-rounded knowledge of current finishes, products and installation techniques, such as lighting, casework, flooring, ceilings, etc.
    Be a strong communicator who is self-motivated and listens and takes direction well.
  • Have a passion for creative design solutions and problem solving and a dedication to achieving great things.
  • Possess well-developed visualization skills and be able to convey intent of ideas easily and quickly, both verbally and visually.
  • Enjoy working in a team setting, and be excited to share knowledge and ideas with others, and to help others improve their own skills and expertise.
  • Work quickly, effectively and within project timelines as either a design team member or project manager.
  • Bring a strong work ethic, sense of professionalism, and desire to constantly learn to the Zervas team.
