Su Development is a self-sustaining, vertically integrated design-build firm in the Puget Sound area founded in 1981. The company performs roles as owner, developer, in-house designer, self-performing general contractor, and property manager for our own projects. With lateral collaboration between in-house design and construction teams, we apply a “master builder” philosophy to projects. Our mission is to redefine urban development by creating architecturally dynamic, community enhancing projects that exemplify simplicity in design and construction.

Over the years, we have completed six high-rise residential projects in downtown Bellevue. The current project under design/construction is a 23 story (two towers over a shared podium), 352 units, mixed-use apartment community in Yesler Terrace neighborhood.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented individual who enjoys a hands-on approach to design and construction detailing in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal, graphic, technical, and written communication skills are essential. The applicant should have a working knowledge of concrete and steel construction methods and detailing. Additionally, the applicant must have strong organizational skills, ability to give and take direction, and interface well with consultants and construction trades.

Qualification

o Minimum 10 years architectural / construction experience

o Bachelor’s degree in Architecture

o More than 8 years of Revit experience including completion of construction documents, multi-family/ mixed use projects preferred.

o Fluent in Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), SketchUp, Microsoft Office Suite, and both hand and digital sketching and rendering techniques

o Familiar with national and local building codes.

o With great sense of design – creative thinking supported by strong technical knowledge.

o Experiences in conceptual design, from micro to macro, is highly valued.
