Eerkes Architects is seeking a part time Studio Manager. We are looking for a creative, responsible, and organized individual to participate in our growth and establish our voice in the Northwest and Hawaiian design conversations. We are located on Bainbridge Island, walking distance from the Seattle ferry.
We are looking for help with the day to day running of the office as well as assistance with big picture strategic planning, public relations, and marketing efforts. Hours are flexible and much of the work can be accomplished remotely.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Assist with office staffing projections
Assist project managers in preparing client invoices
Prepare project budget reports for project managers
Manage payroll and timesheets through simple online payroll website
Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Assist with AIA contracts
Manage and assist with website edits, social media accounts, and advertising
Assist marketing consultant
Assist with hiring and human resources
Work with bookkeeper and accountant
Manage software subscriptions
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Minimum 3 years of client billing or general accounting/bookkeeping experience
Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
Experience in project management and accounting
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and MS Office
Customer service and problem-solving mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and set priorities
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively with team members, clients and management teams
Attention to detail is a must
Experience using online accounting, project management, and payroll software. (Xero, Workflowmax, and Gusto)
